Process:

Our team receives a referral and does an initial intake interview to assess the needs and qualifications of each client. If the client meets the program requirements, S.P.E.A.D. can begin to assist with starting and/or maintaining adequate standards of living. After approval, we work with the client on the unpaid utility and client contribution. S.P.E.A.D. does not pay any additional fees after the initial assistance. Once assisted, a case manager is assigned to the client for the next 60 days to ensure success and to provide any resource referrals if needed. One of our goals is to aid financially challenged single parents in getting back on their feet and being successful long term. This assistance is available twice a year per program guidelines.
